Platelet Reinforced Plasma (PRP)

Platelet Rich Plasma, or PRP, is an innovative approach to tissue regeneration and it is a valuable element to promote healing in all types of orthopedic surgical procedures, including dentistry. PRP derives from the centrifugation of the patient's own blood and it contains growth factors that influence wound healing.

PRP uses the patient's own blood elements, rather than chemicals, to improve patient healing and surgical outcomes. This includes reduced bleeding, faster soft tissue healing, and enhanced bone regeneration.

All it takes is a simple blood sample on the day of your surgery. This is processed on site during your procedure and is ready for use as the procedure is completed.

Approved by the FDA since 2009, it's use has become widespread in medicine and dentistry worldwide.
